Zombie 90
saw this one last night. probably one of the most unintentionally hilarious horror films i have ever seen. The dubbing is the funniest ever. The voices are so rediculous im almost positive it as done like that on purpose. the main character is a horrible, horribble actor. Tall white guy, with a ghetto sounding vioce and says "Damn!" all the time. so incredibly funny.

Utter shitzen of the highest order, this one.
One of those films where you would like to hit all those involved over the head with their video camera to put it to better use. Andreas Schnaas did get a little better with Violent Shit 2 & 3, and the gloomy Anthropophagous 2000.

struggled with this one myself, i'll watch any film which has zombie in the title but this was appalling. Your right about the ghetto dubbing worst i've ever heard.
Saw a film last year called Legion of the damned i think that was by Schnas as well.

You got me in a vendetta kind of mood, tell the ANGELS in Heaven you never saw EVIL so singularly personified than in the face of the man who KILLED you........ I ask you again Captain, where will you go? You can destroy my specimens but what about the millions that wait to greet you outside? Do you really think you can blow the piss out of them? All of them? |

I heard "Zombie 90" was one of those shot-on-video pieces of trash. :)

The 90's camcorder boom made for lots of "so shit, they're shit" efforts - usually about zombies, and featuring fountains of watery red paint and mind-numbingly derived narrative.
At least the "bad" movies from the previous decades were captured on film and driven by a new gap in the market for over-the-top gore and sleaze. Much of today's indie efforts are merely fanboy tributes to the cult of the video nasty, and mildly significant only for their undying dedication to tired undead/apocalyptic themes and self-referential in-jokes.
