Who has this & is it worth getting?

I have a lot of Ramones stuff but I keep seeing the CD/DVD box set Weird Tales Of The Ramones. It looks so damn good but I'm worried I'll buy it and it won't be worth it. Anybody want to toss in your two cents?

Eh... I'd leave this one to the obsessive Ramones fans, really. If that sounds like you, go for it. My friend owns a copy of this. The packaging is cool and everything, but to be honest, I prefer the song mix on the Hey Ho! Let's Go! boxset. That one's probably quite a bit cheaper too.

i dont have it, and havent heard it .. but I'd probably buy it if i saw it..

i think i told this story a while back ... dont know where it is on the forum ... but check this out if you're a ramones fan (besides I'm old .. old guys repeat themselves a lot)

at my favorite second hand shop - where i buy clothes, toys, movies, cds, lps, books, etc etc etc ...

i saw in the 'to be thrown out pile' 2 puzzles ..
they throw mosy puzzles away because they cant determine if they are complete or not and dont want to risk selling puzzles with missing...
anyway it's a dragon and a wizard puzzle and my kid is into that stuff and wouldnt care if a couple of pieces are missing so i asked if i could have them instead of throwing them out - and they said sure.

i get it home and check inside one to find a couple of yellow sheets of paper - with scribbling on them.

i put them aside and checked out the puzzle ..
when i was done i looked at the sheets more closely ..

they were flyers for an in store special appearance (at a record store) by the Ramones ... and the scribbles were the signatures of all 4 ramones .. one signed on the front, and one signed on the back.

i'm getting them framed ... no one is getting 3/4 of those signatures ever again ...sadly ..

ahhh so what if i told this before .. i love the story and it was one of the coolest things i've ever found treasure hunting :)

I haven't heard of it.

I'm sure if you search E-Bay or something, you may find it. And probably for a good price.
