please someone help me

Hi, Sorry to bother you guys, but can you please help me try to find the name of a film im looking for, i haven't seen it since a kid, i can only remember a few things about it. Right here goes-

- I think it's a mid 80's to early 90's US film.

- It has a song in it by "David Bowie" called "ashes to ashes".

- One of the scenes is in some kind of designers place with loads of model dummies or Mannequins

- The eyes of the zombies/robots change colour to red or pink i think.

- The main character's girlfriend turns into one.

- I think he kills her in the end in some kind of lake or something, by stabbing her in the chest with a metal pole if i remember?

Thats all i can honestly remember about the film. I have been searching for ages now but cant find it as i don't know the name of it, lol. if you know what im talking about or vaguely remember the name i would love to know.

If that annoying song is in it, then it's Halloween 3. (This is the Halloween movie that does not have Michael Myers in it.)

Yes, it's true!

That's a little-known fact and it was hushed up for fear of controversy;

David Bowie wrote that song "8 More Days Till Halloween (Silver Shamrock)" because he had some leftover contract days from "Cat People" and they wanted to use them up. So he went down to the local pub and scrawled it on a napkin in a drunken rage and stabbed the napkin with his pen so hard that the ink on the paper was driven permanently into the mahogany countertop. If you know where the pub is (I do) you can read the lyrics to this day. They tried sanding over the words several times but after a few days the words reappeared so eventually they just gave up. True story.

It's called "The Cat's Gotta You Tongue Bar and Grill" and it is in Universal City near the intersection of 265745th St. and Treestobeegosmote Lane--there is a 60 foot tall statue of a cat holding a butcher knife standing in front, and if you kick the statue's foot, a recorded message says "You bastard, you're gonna pay for that! I'll sue your ass off, sir!" and if you kick it again the message says "Thank you I needed that"

yep its def not halloween 3, i rember that film, the masks were silver shamrock. 8 more days to halloween, halloween, halloween, 8 more days to halloween silver shamrock! please someone help.

I wish I could help...................but has anyone noticed that androids tend to get killed by people shoving metal poles into their chests? I seem to remember the fembots on "The Six Million Dollar Man" getting impaled like that, and of course Arnold got impaled like that in "Terminator II"... what is up with this metal pole business
