 holy spelling errors batman!

Good observation. In pretty much every case, they are horrible actors and dont get asked back because they do a shit job of things.

Ever see Mick Jagger in Freejack? Holy christ, he was terrible.

Cheech is a bad example, though. he has been in dozens of movies since the late 70s, that hardly makes him a flash-in-the-pan like the others.

How about some singers and musicians who did prosper in the movie biz. or at the very least were pretty good.

Cher
Kris Kristofferson
the aforementioned Will Smith & Ice Cube
Tom Waits
Mark Wahlberg
Frank Sinatra

i'd say that singers acting have fared a lot better than actors singing.. although the crossover in each direction is hardly suprising ...
most people can act - given a clever director ... but most people cant sing .. you cant hide a bad voice for long.

HEY! You leave Shatner out of this.. um kay?
I never would have thunk Mr Waits was in so many movies. I just watched Coopla's Dracula the other night ago, and I never noticed that renfeild was waits. Thinking about it, I still don't really recognize him as renfeild. Im gonna have to call shananaginz.
