Has anyone else heard that Frank Henenlotter (the Basket Case trilogy) will be making a return to filmmaking? If so, I want details, any news on his upcoming project would be awesome.

Well, since no one replied to this post, I went digging. I found this over at fangoria's site:

“We’ve got Frank Henenlotter on board with a film called LOVE IS HELL, and this is a crazed one. Basically, it’s about a guy who tries to commit suicide, and no matter what he does, he doesn’t die. He ends up giving his soul to a succubus—I don’t want to say much more than that.”

Sounds interesting.

I saw the original "Basket Case" a few years back, and I think I remember it as being pretty good. Kinda Troma-ish campy, but good. Thanks for the update, too!
