Religious Cult Was Hoping Leader Would Come Back To Life
Religious Cult Walled Up Leader In Basement Cell
Gyeonggi provincial police said they exhumed the body of the former leader of a certain religious group from the basement of a social welfare home in Yongin on Tuesday. Mobilizing 150 officers for the excavation effort from 1 p.m. Tuesday, police said they discovered the remains of 54-year-old Song in a bed in the basement where he used to conduct religious activities. Taking into consideration that the body showed no signs of injury, police are presuming he starved to death in captivity. Police called in for questioning the current head of the religious group, 56-year-old Lee, and three other believers. Law enforcement agents are confirming information that the four imprisoned Song -- the former head of the group -- in the basement in 1997 so that he could experience "immortality" and "rebirth," and later walled up the entrance with concrete. Police have sent the exhumed body to the National Institute of Scientific Investigation to confirm the precise cause of death.

Some people will belive anything they think is ture. SO the cult just tied up thier leader since he thought he cpould become imortal.
