Dark Castles:House of Wax

I was all amped for this movie, till I read it's barely gonna be about an actual House of Wax at all. I thought it was gonna be about a group of kids who get trapped in a creepy wax museum where theres more than meets the eye. But from what I read over at another board, it's gonna be similar to "Wrong Turn". Another movie with hillbillies (although not deformed this time) chasing very attractive young people. The house of Wax, is just a temporary plot device. Not the center of the story.:(

House of Wax is a remake of the old Vincent Price movie. I don't really like remakes that much, and to add insult to injury that not tallent hack Paris Hilton is in it according to Fangoria magazine. I think the filmmakers are just trying to cash in on a fad.

ChuckyKlrDoll, I think the movie you are talking about is Waxworks. That's the movie where the group of teens is in the wax museum and they go into the displays and enter into the land of Wolfman, Dracula and so on. If that's not what you are talking about I'm sorry for the mistake but that's what it seems like you were discribing.

offtopic, but felt the need to chime in, I thought waxwork ruled. granted I haven't seen it in years, but when I was younger I was all about it.

Dark Castle keeps ruining classics with overdone thoughtless remakes.

House on Haunted Hill - Strike one
13 Ghosts - Strike two
House of Wax - Strike three?

one can only hope this one doesn't suck as much as the other Dark Castle movies
