A Perfect Circle's New Album

Hits record stores on Election day as an Anti-Bush campaign....

This record is the first to feature new bassist Jordie White of Marilyn Manson fame.....and while i havent really noticed any difference in the WRITING of the songs i HAVE noticed a difference in the mixing....the songs now have ALOT more bass than they did on APC's first and second album....the bass is now UBER compressed and pretty fucking high in the mix.....i think it definitly adds something.....

Wait.............didn't they just release one just last year?!

In that case....I guess I'll be getting the last one...I've had one of the songs in my head constantly. Hopefully the second is better than "Mer De Noms."

As for this new one....well I'll wait and see.

The new one is basically remixes of songs on The Thirteenth Step and covers....its all political shit for the upcomming election....

But they have a song on it called "Counting bodies like sheep to the rhythm of the war drums" thats fucking kickass....i think you can watch the video on their website.....its a completely industrial remix, crazy to hear a perfect circle go industrial....

That and the Imagine cover are all ive heard from the new one, the Thirteenth Step was pretty good tho, i like it far more than their first offering....

- sounds wicked. Eminem has a song called mosh...it's about bush, it's completly direct and to the point, Is that how APC is on this new album? I think they should release it a week or two days before election day, so people can really listen to what they say. But I'm sure It'll kick ass!

i guess i was the only who noticed but their entire new album except for two songs was all cover songs. and speaking of the new way they mixed oh man did the drums annoy the hell out of me. i do a lot of mixing and have done mixing with pros but never have i heard a snare sound so bad. i dont know if it was just me i know thats the sound they were going for but i didnt really dig it to much.

I really respect Perfect circle and tool. But They shouldn't have covered "Imagine".. There is songs you should touch, and thats one of them. They fucked it up soooo bad!! Plus most metal fans can't understand John Lennon
