Well, in a certain sense, at least. I have this sneaking feeling that I'm twice the age of almost everyone here. But anyway...I do have this thing for horror, and I have ever since I was a wee tyke...old skool, new skool, it's all good to me. Tell me all abouta-youselves. I wanna know! I'll give you a little pie slice out of my life right now: I am waiting for a copy of THE INCREDIBLE MELTING MAN to arrive in the mail. I ordered it like two weeks ago, and it should be arriving soon, and I really wanna see it, because it's been ten years since I mailed my last copy away--and I mean HUNDREDS OF MILES away. I made sure that videotape would never bother me again! I had gotten sick of it, you see, because it's a terrible movie, very boring, and the special effects are hard to see, being not very well-lit. But over the last ten years this odd yearning to see it again has gradually overtaken me. And the version I ordered was the MGM Midnight Movies version, so that transfer is very likely off a newer, fresher print. So, uh, I am...anxious to see it. I want the Melting Man, dammit! Have you ever been in a similar situation?
