Other Copyright Help
Ok, as some of you already know, I made a remix song out of a clip of SaW, that slasherman posted here awhile back. Now, I have a question:
If I acknowledge the writers, and actors and state that the movie clip is still in their ownership, can I sell the song in which I have used the movie clip? If not, how would I go about being able to sell this song? If I put it up as a *bonus track* (basically a freebie), could I sell it on a CD?

You can use other people's movie, clips, songs, etc only as long as you don't try to sell it for money.
If you want to sell it you need their permission, otherwise they could sue you. Now you can take their ideas and make clips and songs yourself, you just can't copy everything word for word.
