Just saw this film, which is the movie Don Coscarelli made before Phantasm. I got it out of curiosity and was expecting it to be somewhat rough-hewn, but it was not...it's actually a very good picture, a "kids growing up movie" with a wide array of real-life textures that I imagine would remind many people of their own experiences growing up. A number of people in it also appeared in Phantasm, including Mike Baldwin and Reggie Bannister. Anyone here seen this? I think Phantasm fans would enjoy it.

Not a horror film by any means, but there are some serious themes running through it, and the story takes place mostly during the week leading up to Halloween. Some really neat stuff here.
