Best Zombie Movies
Ok, im getting pretty sick of seeing stupid lame zombie movies. Im looking for peoples opinion on which ones are worth it.
Other than Dawn of the dead, Land of the dead, 28 days later, Zombie, Zombie 2, Zombie 3, Burial Ground etc, what are some good quality zombie movies I might not of heard of. I'm sick of going to the video libary and seeing wicked looking Zombie movie covers but they are lame cam corder films with stupid fake gore. Such as Zombie Nation and Children of the dead and Day of the dead 2 etc. Thx

I Walked With a Zombie and The Serpent and the Rainbow both have fantasticly unique plots...neither contains the typical zombie that you're sick of, but instead a more believable and frightening zombie, the kind that were classicly portrayed. Dead brought to life using voodoo curses, not toxic waste and so on.

Return of the Living Dead is a given, that and Re-Animator. If you haven't seen these, you must. Zombie-comedy is a subject of morbid curiosity, and the above two are a rip-roarin' good time.

Wild Zero
Plaga Zombie - Zona Mutante Versus Night of the Comet (wierd bastardization of the Zombie flick) and "stupid fake gore" is all you'll ever get - no one really gets killed on film, you see...oh and zombies aren't real
