Anybody remember this? I watched it not to long ago and was actually suprised by how much I enjoyed it. Total cheesey shitfest with some great campy moments. Gene Simmons actually makes quite a good bad guy (I liked him in Wanted: Dead or Alive also). Whatever happened to old Magnum he used to be in some pretty cool shit? Maybe its a good thing he's not about as much these days......

heck, it's been years since I saw this, must have still been in my early teens.

wasn't this the one where loads of robots went haywire, and he's in some sort of police unit that tracks them down... I thought it was quite good from what I can remember.

Yep that's the one. Gene Simmons tampers with various robots making them killers (and he has a fucking cool gun with bullets that track people down round corners and shit) then its up to big Tom to sort it all out.

the robots are those little things that look like bugs ..
i have it on VHS somewhere ..

one of 3 or 4 in a row where simmons played a bad guy.. all around the same time

Good movie with the always likable Tom Selleck and the hot pre-fat actress Kirstie Alley.
