Not horror but a great killer bear movie is "The Edge" with Anthony Hopkins and Alec Baldwin.

Well there was Prophecy, not the one with Christopher Walken, an earlier movie by the same name. It had a toxic, mutant bear-like monster ravaging a paper mill.

Hell yeah man, this movie was scary as hell when I first saw it when I was a kid. The part with the campers in the sleeping bags was humorous, but I wouldnt go camping outdoors for a long time after that.
