If you like her, and do not know of them, you should check out Johnny Hollow. Not too into them, but they seem to have a similar...something...with...ah, yes Amanda Palmer and whatever her band was called.

Dresdon Dolls, I was a pretty big fan for a little while. I read some of the books, I actually really liked the movie Nickelodeon put out with Jim Carry. Its a reasonably dark children's tale and it seems like Netflix is holding onto the theme pretty well.
