1. Too many characters to keep track on. When was the last time we saw the Stark boy who couldn't walk? Season 3? I don't remember half of the characters that pops up in season 5. Probably because last time we saw them was in season 2.
2. Time and places. I think they could and should have made a bigger effort showing the audience which town or place we're coming from and where we're going. Like showing us on a map when we switch between characters in different parts of the world. And i find it funny how some people can spend 10 minutes in an episode getting from one place to another while it takes several episodes for others. Had the same issue with "Lost".
3. Too much dialogue for my taste. Many of the episodes is like watching Dynasty, Dallas or Falcon Crest. Too little is happening other than talky-talky about power and politics.
That being said, I wouldn't think twice about giving it a 9/10 as the production is nothing but amazing and the show does have some incredible highlights.

1. I don't have much problems to keep track of the characters.
I think I've watched every season, besides the first one, over a couple of days. And before I start I read up on the previous season on Wikipedia.
If there's still something I don't remember I just press pause, look it up and continue watching.
The Stark boy who couldn't walk last appeared in season 4 and will return in season 6.

"
After ending up in the north beyond the wall he finally found the 3 eyed raven from his vision. There he met someone who I don't remember.
He'll complete some kind of training. This will take place during season 5 but they won't show it. I thought otherwise they didn't have enough time for the other stories or something.
Another possible factor is that he's entered puberty and he's looking and sounding older. I guess with a leave of absence they'll have some kind of excuse."
2. Never noticed it so I can't say it bothers me.
Never saw Lost btw.
3. I can understand but I like the dialogues.
I think it's one of the things that makes this show so good.
