Pretty good film for modern horror. I really liked the opening and the first half of this movie. It was timeless, it could be taking place now, 10 years ago, the 80's, I felt it. It gave me odd feelings that I liked. : ) Then I got a bit bored with it. It is really worth a watch though.

3 issues tho.
1. There's an awful lot of time spend on our young people walking or driving around. I would much rather have prefered them being followed the entire time. Without a car. And I must say the speed of this walking "ghost" varies a LOT. Obviously a very fast swimmer. 
2. The odd actions of these people, especially the lead character, was driving me nuts.
3. The ending was lacking climax and... well, an end!!
But other than that a throughout solid accomplishemnt by the young director and crew. I'll certainly keep an eye on this guy in the future. |
It's easily a 10 for me. I mostly loved the weirdness, atmosphere, and suspense of the movie. It felt like I was in another world. For some reason I liked watching them drive around and stuff. As for the characters' lack of common sense, the director said they were supposed to be like the kids from Scooby-Doo, do their plans were gonna be stupid. The ending didn't sit well with be at first either, but now I think it ended perfectly because we never know if the person following them is a normal person or a follower. It's definitely a divisive film, but I loved it!
