A teacher showing it to pre-teens? That's inappropriate. Public or private school? Hope they got parental permission in triplicate with notary-public.

Making too much out of social parallels to Night of the Living Dead seems very nonacademic to me -- being it's completely subjective. I'd rather see a making of - that could include Romero talking about his "intended parallels".
