Hrm. V will be able to explain it better, but here's the gist:
At the beginning of the Showdown, we were all asked to provide a series of random alphabet letters.
Once we did that, V divided us into Teams.
For each letter, he randomly assigned a Sexy Lady of Horror.
For each "Round," someone picks a member of each Team and one of their letters.
So what you get, as a result is a competition between three Scream Queens, each one representing an HDC member. Some people are voting on how well she played that role in a particular movie... Some people are voting to survive... Some people may be voting out of spite...
Because at the end of the round, the HDC'er with the winning dame gets an HDC Dollar. And at some point people start getting eliminated.
It's fun - V organizes a lot of Tournaments and Showdowns like this.
