The Invisible Ray was one of five films on a Bela Lugosi pack. As a result, it really does not include any special features (except MAYBE a trailer, I would have to check to be sure).

I do not believe Scanners includes any special features except maybe the original trailer. I recently found out that Criterion will be releasing their edition next month. While that version will not include any commentaries, from what I understand, it will include New, restored 2K digital film transfer, supervised by director David Cronenberg, with uncompressed monaural soundtrack on the Blu-ray; The “Scanners” Way, new documentary on the film’s special effects, featuring interviews with Cronenberg’s collaborators; Mental Saboteur, a new interview with actor Michael Ironside; The Ephemerol Diaries, a 2012 interview with actor and artist Stephen Lack; Excerpt from a 1981 interview with Cronenberg on the CBC’s The Bob McLean Show; New, restored 2K digital transfer of Stereo (1969), Cronenberg’s first feature film; Trailer and radio spots; and an essay by critic Kim Newman. So, there is a good chance I will be buying the film again through Criterion to gain access to all of these special features.
The extras on Magic, and the Criterion Scanners looks very cool!
