What I liked about House of a 1,000 Corpse was the 80's/90's feel to it. You could tell that movie was done by someone who really enjoyed watching horror movies. The ending got really weird but for the most part it was a good horror film (can't really say that about the rest of his films)
Also my wife said she hates the movie because it makes you side more with the villains then the victims, which I love that fact.
