THE LOST (2006). Based on the violent Jack Ketchum novel of a small town sociopath losing his grip on reality and the inevitable rampage. ***
SUPER 8 (2011). Kind of a hybrid of ET/CLOVERFIELD/IT CAME FROM OUTER SPACE and a group of kids making a horror film in 1979 (good attention to detail here with authentic songs/props). Really liked this, although I wish there had been more focus on the kids and the movie. ***1/2
