Yeah, I absolutely hated the term when I first heard it but now I use it all the time as it turns out I really like a lot of films in the genre.

The Wikipedia article is fairly comprehensive, but here are my personal favorites:

True Adolescents and Safety Not Guaranteed aren't listed in the Wikipedia article but they have a similar feel to them (as well as Mark Duplass), so I'd lump them in. I adored both of those movies.

The Do-Deca-Pentathlon and Computer Chess are both on Netflix Instant now; I haven't watched them yet but want to check them out. I also need to see Funny Ha Ha. Hanna Takes the Stairs was good, but I prefer some of the other titles more.
