Hi all!
My name is Khaleesi, but you can call me Lee. I joined this site because I’m a huge fan of the horror genre and I thought it would be fun to chat with other like-minded individuals. A few things about me…
*I have wide-ranging tastes and will watch pretty much any horror/dark film. Having said that, I do have a few favored subgenres, including the New French Extremity, supernatural-based stories, and also slow-burner, visceral thrillers similar to “Eyes Wide Shut” and “Antichrist”.
*”Found Footage” is my guilty pleasure. Don’t know why, especially since it seems to have a bad rep amongst most horror fans.
*I try to watch at least two films a day, although quality is definitely preferable to quantity. As of today, I’m up to 923 movies watched and my goal is to reach 1,000, which means I still have time to decide just which movie gets the honor.
*I tried once to keep a list of my top ten faves, but it’s always changing. The movies that have a permanent place on my personal “best of” list are, in no particular order…
