Nite site. It's good to see horror fiction fans interviewing horror authors out there. I've interviewed a couple of horror authors and publishers over the years - more U.K.-based writers, such as Adam Nevill, Gary McMahon, Tom Fletcher and more. And a couple of publishers or editors too. It's interesting to get a different feel for those various directions from which both writer's and industry folk are coming.
Nice video editing by the way! Enjoyed the F. Paul Wilson interview - especially what he had to say about torture porn - I felt exactly the same way after watching Hostel. I just can't watched that stuff - I don't get why people enjoy watching it, but I guess many folks feel the same about horror in general, so I respect that some people enjoy that and leave it there.
In some ways it reminds me of where in some books when the writing goes in that direction I can get put of - and I am a big horror fan. I found
Exquisite Corpse by Poppy Z. Brite really hard going at times, as I did
The Seven Days of Peter Crumb by Jonny Glynn.
