As many are saying, He Is Legend.

It's impossibe to overstate his talent or his importance in the horror genre. His influence is felt in every medium.

He wrote many iconic novels: I Am Legend, Stir of Echoes, The Shrinking Man, Hell House.
He wrote most of the Corman Poe films, Speilberg's debut Duel, adaptations of his novels.
He wrote scripts for just about every spooky TV show- Alfred Hitchcock, Thriller, Twilight Zone, Star Trek, The Night Stalker, The Night Gallery, Amazing Stories, and more.

He's Stephen King's favorite writer.

A legend, a giant... gone. Very much missed.
