what's hard about melody, for me anyway, is trying to come up with something original. i almost always have a melody i've already heard in mind when i think of lyrics.
i play, or rather played the... eh hem... flute. shut up !
i am now in the process of learning how to play the drums. :o like... so much cooler :p
