Double Indemnity (1944)
An ultimate film-noir. Heard lots of good stuffs about it before but finally saw it last night. I used to be a sucker of this James Hadley Chase sort of stories about treacherous woman manipulating a guy for her own ends. But besides the plot & watching Billy Wilder's cinematic magic in every frame, this one become an absolute treat for Edgar Robinson's top-notch performance as Barton Keys "& the little man inside him"...what a great actor he was!! Wow!!
