All his films (YES - I said ALL) are crap and derivative in pathetic ways.  The worst of this bad bunch (House and Halloween II) are completely incoherent.  No offense here. We all have different tastes. I did not care for Halloween II either, I found it to be messy and unnessesary to his first intention. He should have stopped at Halloween;which I liked personally. I am a fan of all his others. The Devil's Rejects being my favorite.
