I managed fortunately to see Scream in the cinema's when it was released with a schoolmate bunking off school. I remember what a joy it was because I must have been 15 or 16 when I saw so I'd seen enough horror films at the time to get it and me and my mate absolutely adored the opening sequence. As much as I love it I find it more of it's time and it's something I would watch only for nostalgic purposes now-I doubt I'd really enjoy it enough to revisit it too often though.
