There is this book called Horror Movie Freak that is basically a list of hundreds of different horror movies divided into sub-genres written by Don Sumner. Many of the movies receive one-page descriptions. There are quite a number of horror movies discused and it is a great guide, if you want to discover the best of the horror movie world. Additionally, the author is also among others who run the website besthorrormovies.com. I bought the book a year ago and read it relatively quickly.
