Time to call this.

By beating the much-fancied opposition such as Tod Browning's 1931 masterpiece Dracula and Werner Herzog's remake par excellence from 1979, Nosferatu: Phantom Der Nacht by a final margin of...

Nosferatu - 10 (The Villain, Ice Pik, Roderick Usher, neverending, fearonsarms, ManchestrMorgue, newb, fortunato, MichaelMyers, Atraxi)

Dracula - 3 (bamahorrorfan87, hammerfan, Zero)

Nosferatu: Phantom Der Nacht - 1 (Dara)

THE WINNER, AND THE CHAMPION OF ALL VAMPIRE FILMS...

F. W. MURNAU'S SILENT MASTERPIECE OF 1922!

NOSFERATU

Thank you to everyone who voted all through the tournament to make it a successful run yet again. I had promised myself "no more tournaments!" back before Halloween season but did this one for all those HDC members who were interested to see one for Halloween.

Now that this is over, I can finally hang up my boots.

Thanks for all the love over the years. Tournaments were good as long as they lasted, but much like the BR, they have somewhat lost their charm in recent times. Still, I am really overwhelmed by the responses to all my efforts through the years. I am indebted to all of you.

And finally, this one goes out to our much beloved NeverEnding Wonder Radio, the one station we used to stay glued all through October for the wonderful Halloween Broadcast.

Ciao for the final time!
