When I say "quality little indie horror flicks," it's of the same ilk of Dead End, yellowbrickroad, The Caller, etc.

Had a decent idea but horribly dull execution. Didn't like it.

Just as with any anthology, there were some films that were stronger than others ( Amateur Night, The Sick Thing That Happened to Emily When She Was Younger - which made me jump and scream out loud, by the way; great jump effects, and 10/31/98, which was successfully scary but also just fun to watch the effects and see a filmmaker play with a sub-genre within a sub-genre. The main story arc was also very well-done and deliciously creepy.

 I really wanted to like
The Sick Thing.... but didn't get the ending. What they were up to?
