The UK's Horror Channel is sponored by the site 13 horror and I see the adverts for it during every commerical break. Not needing the biggest of pushes to try anything horror related, I looked it up.
The site sets two challenges. The first is to read "The Magic" and the second is to try "The Dare" Have a look for yourself here

I've decided tonight to buy both The Magic and The Dare to see if I can give my over-sensitised ass a good scare. I'll let you know how it goes!
When it's all over, if it's any good, I'll be buying the books that they're ultimately trying to tout us.
