That's a tough question because I have never seen anything like that before. As for just a good horror movie to watch, I'd say check out "Let Me In", if you haven't seen it. Maybe you can pull some inspiration from it. By the way, what kind of feel are you looking for your movie to have? That might help people recomend something suitable.
