While I'm pretty sure this is you still trying to instigate more bullshit, I actually agree to a point - this shouldn't be done on the basis of forum votes. Shouldn't be a formalised popularity contest.

Just, I agree that this could lead to more bias...which would give you among others more reason to perpetuate your whole deal.
That said Elvis also has the right to say who he would and wouldn't want filling the role.
Honestly though without trying to hurt any feelings the whole NE departure thing is a bit of an immature snap response on a bad day (though probably should have been a good day considering the book news) and it went to "Well if you think you can do it better, here, it's yours, I don't care. I'm leaving".
I mean come ON.
