Blood and Bone: Decent action/ martial arts movie with Michael Jai White. Cliched story, its pretty much an updated version of A.W.O.L (Van Damme) and there isnt a whole lot of plot. With the exception of Eamonn Walker, who is always entertaining, the characters are fairly one dimensional. That said, its very easy to watch, the fight scenes are good and the story doesnt drag its heels. Worth a watch.
Frostbiten: Swedish vampire flick. Billed as a horror/ comedy I thought it might be good for a few laughs. Was light on comedy and the story just plodded along. Quickly lost interest and even a couple of scenes with talking dogs werent enough to save it.
Bill the Kid and the Green Baize Vampire: Absurd musical starring Phil Daniels (Quadrophinia). Rock opera about a snooker match between Billy the Kid (cheeky cockney, Phil Daniels) and The Green Baize Vampire (its not just a name, he really is a vampire). Directed by Alan Clarke, it has to be seen to be believed.
