On a side note, I watched a faulty copy of The Butterfly Effect a couple of years ago which was in Black and White. Much preferred it. Often I find the use of b&w to be somewhat unnecessary and a poor attempt to be artistic, but it definitely has its place (Ed Wood and Young Frankenstein are good examples).
