My favourite scene in that film. This may be a bit off topic, but I was thinking earlier whether it was influenced by Suspiria. Sounds weird, but much like when Sarah emerges as one of the living dead at the end, the soundtrack doesn't start until a beat after the actual shock moment, which I've always felt is very effective and undeused.
