Would looooooooooooove to do that... With a pub next door and some of the shows would be 21+ so that people could bring in their beers (and also not be annoyed by youngsters - sorry parents and obnoxious teenagers). I'm not a huge fan of the theaters that have waiters - only because it disrupts the film for people who aren't ordering food... So you'd have to go out and get your own beer... But still.
Beer. Greasy food. GOOD nachos. Movies. 21+.
Not all of the time, though... I'd like to do special "kids shows" during the day for stay-at-home parents/nannies/daycares... If you bring in a kid under a certain age your ticket is free... I don't know - Something like that.
I also like the idea of having parent/baby shows - where parents can bring their babies and the only people who they are upsetting are other parents.
Other than that, I'd probably have a no-baby policy. People who bring crying babies to evening shows are fucking obnoxious (happened at a 10:00 p.m. showing of Autopsy... I'm not even kidding - What fucking trash - Don't give me the sob "I never get out of the house" story... It's 10:00 - You're fucking baby should be IN BED)
GOD I don't enjoy going to the movies as much as I used to - Friggin teenagers that talk through it (ok, that's not fair, there are annoying adults that talk through movies too) and obtuse people that bring in their babies at inappropriate shows and times...
I'll uphold a strict policy of NOT BEING A DOUCHE.
