Hobo With A Shotgun: Much like House of 1000 Corpses this movie starts off quite strong. Some pretty good character development that got me interested in what happens to these people. Both the good guys and the bad. Then about 3/4 of the way through it turns to utter shit. Sure, both movies are meant to be campy and over the top, but seriously? Why go completely stupid and add in characters like The Plague (or Dr. Wolfenstein and the ridiculous, huge mutant)? Both movies had such promise, but then threw it all away by letting a 9 year-old kid write the last act. I was completely disappointed with Hobo which is too bad because it was pretty damn awesome until The Plague showed up. I would probably have a hard time recommending this one to most anyone unfortunately.
Delicatessen: More than made up for the shitshow that was Hobo. Amazing movie all around.
