I'm always saying that someday I really want to write and direct a film that will really terrify even the most seasoned horror movie veteran. I always complain that no movie can scare me, and that is why I am such a fan of horror movie because I am continually searching for a movie that will truly scare me.
That being said, I really don't ever have any ideas to back up this strong desire to create a great horror film. I think that mine wouldn't have too much to do with things that aren't believable, since people are most scared when they feel like what happened in the film could really happen to them. I find that truck drivers are usually a good bet... a la Wolf Creek and High Tension. They also include wide open, unfamiliar territory, which I find to be scarier than being trapped in a building or a cave or something.
And none of that shaking camera bullshit. =/
