I like Mac's idea...but the first few decades may give us a hard time.
To avoid any confusion regarding the participants or voters, I think this time we can go for some selective opinions or just throw a deadline & ask for a list of "100 horror films of last 100 years--the best film in each individual year since 1910"...then whoever wants to vote or contribute he/she can send the list to someone who later compile a final one based on those whatever no. of votes or suggestions we get at the end.
