A few years back I drove 3 hours to get to a Reverend Horton Heat show. I got there and it was sold out. I tried to scalp a ticket in front of the venue to no avail. I said "Fuck it", I'll just listen in the parking lot. Then I spotted the bass player, Jimbo, and aproached him in hopes of getting his autograph. We started bullshitting and I told him how I'd driven for 3 hours to see them. He said, "Wait here for one minute", then took off. About 3 minutes later he came back with the club manager who escorted me into the show, right pass all the other suckers trying to buy a scalped ticket! On a side note, I've seen RHH 2 times since and always run into Jimbo, he's hella cool and has autographed 3 of my RHH albums!:cool:
