Turistas (2006). IMDB's low rating is unfair at the least. This was a competent backwoods horror that was better than most of the junk that gets made. The story was solid, the acting surprisingly good. The direction and camera work were more than solid. The claustrophobic scenes, though they malingered a tad, worked for effect. The third act turned wonderfully mean, and while the Hollywood ending was predictable it was satisfying none the less. Ashe.
