I really can't tell what makes a good horror film for you.
You didn't like:

Nightmare On Elm Street
The Shining
Hostel
The Devil's Rejects
Misery
The Grudge
The Devil's Backbone
Saw
and you didn't like the ending of The Ring. Okay:confused:
As I said before, I cannot stand Kiyoshi Kurosawa's films (I find them boring and pointless), but a lot of people love his work and it sounds like the sort of thing you might (I repeat, MIGHT) enjoy.
