Well, even I found The Grudge and Devil's Backbone to be incredibly boring, so I hope Cure and Pulse aren't along the same lines (won't know if I don't try). Even REC was pretty darn scary with the Meideros girl at the end and no obvious CG throughout the movie; very believable as opposed to the half-witted explanations of ghosts and curses.
