The original version of Out of Limits was actually by The Mar-Ketts. They had a truly unique sound.

A great instrumental is Hocus Pocus by Focus. Hmmm... maybe it doesn't count since it has yodelling.

There are so many great rock instrumentals my brain won't even think of any right now. Most bands in the 60s and 70s had at least one per album.
