The hologram guy, did he actually look like any of the bigger bots that came out in later series?
Im not exactly sure, id have to watch mine again and my next door neighbor has them at the moment:mad: but i cant really remember thinking they did, he might resemble some of the autobot ones from the second season...that is one of the best episodes on the first season tho...

Also, can't the dinobots turn into a bigger guy too? why didnt they just do that?
Nope, never do...although not for the fandom wanting them too. They never combine and are one of the few subgoupse of TF's that dont, its kinda cool that they dont and it kinda sucks too ya know...

I remember that omega dude having something seriously against the constructicons, you say it's because he referrs to them having abused his trust in the past in cybertron or something like that, right?
HEH me and my brother thought the EXACT same thing....i dunno i guess youd have to read the comics to see which actually came first, and unless megatron actually made them along time ago on cybertron (riiiiiiiiiiiiiiight and they just showed up now? ) then there is a MAJOR hole in the plot heh....u got me man...

So, you obviously explained the headmasters one to me (I never saw the series, as it didnt come out here either, but I do recall some kid having a toy that was a larger robot that turned into some kinda aircraft, and a lil guy that only turned into a head, although at the time, I didn't recognise it as a transformer.), what was targetmasters meant to be all about then?
Well both are from series 4, but there were some toys that came out in series 3 that were still around in series 4, since they didnt want to change the toy molds they already had for THESE toys but they still wanted them to be a part of the whole headmaster gimick they made them TARGETMASTERS, in which case, the other little robot turns into a gun the Targetmasters can hold...not near as cool as the headmasters.

Also, does one NEED to see these series? Are they relevant to the overall storyline?
Well it depends on how into G1 you are, i love G1 the most out of all the series just because it was the one i grew up on, has the best characters IMO, my brother would argue this, and i love the toys.. After the movie (which is bar none the best thing that ever happened in TFs) the series kinda slides a bit and season 3 kinda sucks, but season 4 (headmasters) is kinda like the TFs getting back to where they were prior the movie, and it tends to be animated alot better since its all japanese at this point, plus i like some of the headmaster characters....

I just download them all online, via edonkey and kazaa light, since there is no subtitled english version of these seasons out to buy, except bootlegs, its what we are kinda stuck with for now....

Im just trying to get all the way through G1 cartoon and toy collecting wise....man there are alot of them tho.....
