Groundzero2424 instantly turned. The explosions sounding off on his far left indicated that some of the hunters had started the hunting. He knew his quarry might head to where he was, so his eyes started running in all directions for a good place to hide.

He didn't have the time, however.

NOD came running into the clearing from his left and stood for a second, surveying the area in front of her. GZ froze where he was, then licked his lips. Up came the Grenade Launcher.

THUNK!

Nightmare of Death heard the ugly sound, and zipped forward without looking.

KABOOOOOOOOOOOOM!!!

GZ had aimed at the spot slightly in front of NOD, so when the grenade hit the ground and exploded, the last thought resonating through NOD's shaking brains was "SHITTTTTTTTT!" She fell heavily to her right, and bit her lips to stop the excruciating pain from enveloping her mind entirely. She grabbed at her HPs and lifted herself to all fours somehow, crawling into some bushes nearby.

Someone else was watching this entire spectacle with wide, red eyes.

GZ looked at the bushes into which NOD had gone crawling through, and dropped his weapon down. A clacking sound near him made him whirl around. Two long chains dotted with sharp spikes came flying through the tree in front of him and locked shut on his flailing arms. GZ looked at them with confusion and tried to free himself, and two similar chains came flying at him and wrapped themselves tight around his legs, the spikes puncturing the skin on his legs and making him bleed profusely.

THE CHAINER dropped down from the tree and glared at GZ, the chains extending from behind it, protruding from it's back. It's chest throbbed slowly and opened, and a long coil of steel came flying out of it to grab GZ's throat. GZ screamed as the razor-sharp chain locked around his neck and caused immediate bleeding.

The Chainer roared.

GZ pulled his right arm back and reached for his HPs in a desperate attempt to heal himself. He looked longingly through wet eyes at the now-empty Grenade Launcher lying on the ground. The Chainer followed his gaze and a smirk broke on it's face. It blinked once, and the chains tugged.

GZ howled loudly. His inhuman shriek echoed around the Zone. The chains pulled outward, and ripped his arms, legs and neck off the rest of his torso in a sweeping motion. His torso spurted blood from all sides and thudded into the ground, and his head fell beside it with wide-open, death-filled eyes.

The chains retracted back, and The Chainer glowered at the remains of GZ. It then heard an explosion right in front, and swung back above into the clump of trees, and disappeared.


SLICE 'N' DICER GROUNDZERO2424 IS DEAD!!!!!



The_Return had heard the explosions from his left and had hurried there. He had come upon MissM who was lying down. Quickly pulling a HP out, he had patched MissM's one remaining wound and had lifted her gently to shake her awake. MissM had opened her eyes and had gratefully looked at Return, before nodding towards the direction where DS had gone flying through. Return had followed her gaze, gritted his teeth and had clutched his Grenade Launcher tightly. He lowered MissM down, and ran forward in pursuit of DS.

The shuffling of feet in front of him made Return set his lips tight with determination. He kept running and following his prey, as was soon onto him. DS was fast, but not fast enough. As soon as they both reached a clearing, Return stopped, lifted his weapon and pulled the trigger, all in one action.

THUNK!

KABOOOOOOOOOOOOM!!!

The grenade hit DS on his back and DS slowed for one flying instant. It was his undoing. The grenade exploded with the might of a huge sucker punch of a trained boxer, and threw DS into the air. His legs were mercilessly ripped, the flesh dropping out and spraying blood into the ground. He yelled.

At the same exact moment, a loud inhuman cry of death shook the entire area. Return smiled in glee, thinking it was DS's cry of pain.

How wrong he was!

The clacking sound stopped near the tree where Return stood. Return froze and slowly turned to his left, lifting his head with rapidly widening eyes. The chains came flying through the tree's branches, wrapping around Return's arms and legs and snapping tight, biting into his flesh and ripping it apart to tear out big cuts all across his limbs. Return screamed in blinding agony, desperately grabbing at his HPs to cover the bruises.

THE CHAINER dropped down from the tree, and glared at Return. The Return's eyes widened in extreme surprise at the sight in front of him, and his jaw dropped. He forgot to scream. The Chainer's chest throbbed again and opened, the final coil of razor-sharp chain flying out of it and clicking tight around Return's neck. Return gave out a final croak, as the Chainer tugged at it's chains.

Arms and legs were pulled out of Return's torso, the green grass of the entire area turning immediately to a bright red, bloody crimson. Return's eyes closed and mouth opened, and it stayed open as his head was ripped out of the remaining part of his body. His eyes slowly rolled backwards, his mouth still open to scream, as his head landed with a thud on the side of his bleeding torso.

The Chainer glowered at Return's remains for an instant, then turned around.


PHANTOM THE_RETURN IS DEAD!!!!!
